Obverse -Image of central Shahid Minar and under the Shahid Minar there is an inscription stating that 'Amar Bhaiyer Rakthy Rangano Ekushey February; Ami Kyi Bhulite Pari'. The inscription '6o th anniversary of language movement' is at the bottom left .Reverse - The picture of the first Shahid Minar of '52 is in the middle and there are images of five language martyrs in the two sides of the picture. The inscription '60 years of language movement 1952-2012' is placed above the images and there is an inscription in the English language 'Bangladesh Bank .
